In Memoriam: Gayl Ann Bertagni

Blessed the world on March 4, 1956 and shared her love, joy, peace and food with everyone until her sudden departure on May 22, 2009. Gayl was passionate about life and living it to the fullest.

Gayl is survived by her daughter, Bianca Sanders and her father, Robert Sanders (Tacoma, WA) her parents John and Eleanor Bertagni (Renton, WA) her brother Steve (Cheryl)Bertagni and their daughters Jennifer, Gina and Givanna (Marysville, WA) and sister Jane Bertagni Evans (Todd) and their children Emily, Mackenzie and Joe (Cleveland, OH).

Gayl was the proud co-owner and entrepreanuer of The Swiss Pub of Tacoma, WA and loved creating the business legacy with her business partners, Bob Hill and Jack McQuade.

Gayl will be forever loved and missed deeply by many, many people and her dog, Nellie.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate a Memorial Funeral Mass at St. Stephen the Marytr on Tuesday, May 26 at 11:00 am, 13055 South 192nd, Renton, WA 98055. The celebration of Gayl will continue on Saturday, May 30 beginning at 3:00 pm at The Swiss Pub. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Emergency Food Network and support your local farmers.
